Its just about preference of style… not “class”… I honestly enjoy looking like a bum once and while and this is not my style….

Absolutely love you, and your first tutorial is amazing. I’ve been following TB for so long, and I was worried I wouldn’t like change, but I do!! I’m soooo excited for you and to see what else you bring us!! You are such a ray of sunshine!

  5. vashti1616 says:

Very nice and doesn’t look “homemade” too much. Love the “how big to make your little bag :-)

thanks for the flower explanation. Iám going use that.

  10. 101ineke says:

Nice, the flowers. Iám going to use that idea.

I am really impressed with your method of making flowers. I will definately try them myself. Can I make two suggestions though please…. why not leave the opening in the lining rather than the fashion fabric and that way the handstitching will be hidden inside the bag; secondly, could you speak a bit more slowly please as sometimes I had trouble catching what it was you were saying. Having said that, this is a brilliant video. Thanks.

Honestly, I’ve watched a few Thread Banger videos before but never really wanted to subscribe. I didn’t like most of the things I saw featured and the stuff I did like was just waaay too complicated for me to try to use their instructions; I would have to cut corners.
KL’s tutorials, on the other hand, are easy to follow and her style is cute and interesting. She’s clever and genuinely peppy and when people stop moping over being deserted and give her a chance, they’ll see that.

    I miss old Threadbangers..

  14. makeuptoya says:

@makeuptoya Don’t get me wrong i love your vids too secret, that’s why i was already subbed to you.

Thank you so much for this tutorial–it’s giving me ideas to how to make certain things–and good luck on this channel!! I also like how you used a less distracting background to show what you were doing. However, I’m a tad lost on how to do a blind stitch—think you may add a tutorial about different forms/uses of stitching?

  16. kbrena says:

I love the purse. Thanks for the tutorial. It has given me some ideas…especially the flowers.

@kittycat5261 Honestly, this looks like how the new Threadbanger will be. Probably not totally girlie, but it’s under new management now, so, not to be mean, but deal with it. Besides, it can’t hurt to learn something new.. Personally, I like the more fashion-forward direction. Some of the things that have been on Threadbanger before just looked so homemade, (in the shabby, elementary-school-level sense, not the loving crafty sense) I hope we continue to see such polished looking projects.

  18. ChineseAthena says:

@LittleSelfia I’m amazed that you’re being so, well, hateful. She’s just come out and said that she is fully aware of what Threadbanger is all about. And don’t think you speak for all Threadheads. There are lots of us who’d love to learn how to mimic something that we saw and loved but can’t afford. Besides, this is just one video. She has ALSO already said that she has many other projects lined up. Don’t assume she’s a one-trick pony who can only imitate girly fashion. Ease up on the hate.

  19. SecretLifeOfaBioNerd says:

@kimt2au LOL yeah, for some reason I didn’t do the lining thing you mentioned (LOL I am an idiot -_-) , and yes I have a terrible problem with speaking too fast. I tried slowly down but I sound really really really unnatural. Actually I sound kind of stupid!! I use to go to speech competitions in high school and that’s where I lost so many points on! I will definitely work on it! TY!

  20. SecretLifeOfaBioNerd says:

@silverbracelet6 u and me both. I sit at home in a wife beater with cheeto stains and a pair of torn up jeans ^_^” nothing wrong with it……but I add small pieces like this to spice thing sup.

  21. SecretLifeOfaBioNerd says:

    @kittycat5261 Well, i am a girly girl. ^_^”

  22. SecretLifeOfaBioNerd says:

@Sanamuffin u can do it by hand. I did use a sewing machine though. Also the chain should be long enough so that it wil comfortable slip in and out of her wrist!

  23. jsmorris says:

@SecretLifeOfaBioNerd lol k. is just insted of leaving the timy opening on the yellow. you leave it on the white fabric.
any who, the bag looks great. very cute.

  24. dolphin122074 says:

i do that too because my get taking.
