Need good bedding set?

Well I’m a single guy that just bought a king size bed. Now its time for me to get a good bedding set for my new bed. I was looking on Ebay, and I guess I can check out Wal-Mart too. But is there any preference for girls? I plan to bring some girls back home when I go to the bars and clubs and would like to make the experience more enjoyable for them. Like satin or silk, do they like that? And if I did get something like that, would that make me look gay for being a single guy? Just looking for some help for my situation. Thanks!

Go to Bed Bath and Beyond. I just got a $159 bed spread for $47 and it’s beautiful! I would go with dark brown bedding and khaki sheets with matching suede window panels which block out a lot of light. (FYI: Wal-mart has suede panels for $15 each…that’s what I have) Also make sure you have a decorative candle or two on your nightstand that is in the same color palate as the sheets. I wouldn’t go with silk or satin but maybe a high thread county egyptian cotton (target/bed bath and beyond).
    Good luck!

Oh…also…no posters on the walls please! You can hang a mirror (not visible from the bed!) and maybe a decorative piece but no pin-ups on the wall…that’s a major turnoff!

You want to impress ladies do not buy bedding at Walmart or on ebay. Dude, go to Linens & things, Bed Bath and Beyond or a department store and plunk down a couple hundred bucks for a decent set. Walmart sets will probably leave you itchy and scratchy. Think about it.

You’ll only look gay if it’s too fruity. Get a female friend or the sales person to help you, don’t go it alone.

Check out something from Macy’s they usually have nice king sized bed sets that are not that expensive. Satin sheets can be sexy..being a girl I would definetly want to get laid on those sheets

You should never scimp on Bedding. YOU have to get at least 700 Thread count sheets. I would recommend Egyptian cotton. Stay away from Satin, it only looks good but it very slippery.

All women are different vis a vis taste, so the kind of bedding you choose is up to you in terms of color, fabric and pattern (more below). The one thing that girls want when they go back to a guy’s apartment is simple: clean sheets, a nicely made bed, new towels (hand, washcloth and bath sheets (very big towels) that are lush AND washed (honestly, I’ve known guys who didn’t even bother to change their sheets or towels, which was disgusting and made me wonder if THEY were clean!), a clean, well stocked bathroom (e,g.toilet paper – a must), and kitchen. You could buy the sexiest satin sheets on the planet my dear, but if your bed looks like a wreck, if your sheets are rumpled and smell, if your bathroom hasn’t been washed for 800 years, I can most certainly tell you that will turn her off more than sheets that reflect your personal style or could be interpreted as being slightly gay!

Buy 300 thread cotton sheets (more expensive the higher the count) in a style that reflects your personality. Color – subtle or bold, is always nice, as is a matching or accenting comforter with a few similarly patterned throw pillows. While satin is hot and very sexy, it is very slippery and cold in winter, but great in summer. Silk is very difficult to care for and is quite expensive, so don’t bother.

What matters is that you make your room inviting and romantic – a few carefully placed candles – away from the bed, soft music..you want to create a mood.
