Well I’m a single guy that just bought a king size bed. Now its time for me to get a good bedding set for my new bed. I was looking on Ebay, and I guess I can check out Wal-Mart too. But is there any preference for girls? I plan to bring some girls back home when I go to the bars and clubs and would like to make the experience more enjoyable for them. Like satin or silk, do they like that? And if I did get something like that, would that make me look gay for being a single guy? Just looking for some help for my situation. Thanks!

Just wondering, one of my bridemaids recommended a place for cleaning and boxing my wedding dress. Well, when I really got thinking about it- yeah it’s a nice dress that cost 1,200 but it’s made out of polyester (not silk like a really good or old dress)….. and most people don’t rewear their mother’s dresses unless they are really nice and vintage. Most of my friends have their mother’s dress and their wedding dress in the attic. So instead of paying all that extra money to have it cleaned and boxed to throw it in my crawl space- I am thinking about selling it on ebay after the wedding.
Anyone ever sell their dress and wish they didn’t?? If so please tell me why!
Thanks!!
My dress is really plain with a little beading at the waist and the edge of the dress. I though about making into something else but it would just be ivory polyester…. won’t look like much if it was made into something else.

This is my first kimono, and I wanted to get a less pricer one as my first:

For the obi, I’ve found these three; but are they the right kind, and match well? I will only buy one:

Which, if any, would be the best one too buy; and the best looking? I’m sorry I’m so kimono-illiterate!
Thank you for any help

Its not cotton, chiffon or silk for sure.
The fabric material is 100% non-stretchy. But designed like that to be stretchy. And its comfortable enough to wear as a skirt of a top.
Its a vintage late 80′s fabric though and no one here knows what type of fabric is that.
Please help. Thanks =]
Yes the pleat is permanent.
What fabric do u think could hold a permanent pleat? =]

I’m getting married in mid-October. Working with a REALLY limited budget(almost everything goes to living expenses), I’m hunting pre-owned wedding dress sites, as well as eBay. I know what kind of gown I dream of, but I know that might have to remain a dream. Real vintage dresses won’t fit my shape. I found one that works, and they’ll let me put it on layaway, but it’s the wrong color. They said to find out if it can be dyed to an antique ivory with tea.
I looked at the dresses on David’s site. I didn’t see one that I liked. I also spoke to one of their seamstresses in my home town, and she was so rude I decided I’d rather get married in a t-shirt and jeans than give them my money. But I appreciate the suggestions alot. That tea-dyeing page is great!
Thank you for the advice.Like I said, I’m on a serious budget. Yes, I check Goodwill and every other thrift store I can find. But I live in Vegas. Most bride here are on limited budgets(the recession’s hit htis town HARD). In addition, we’ve got out-of-town brides scouring the city with great enthusiasm, and they aren’t stuck with public transportation! I’m kind of set on an antique ivory gown, so natural fibers are something that I’m reluctant to give up on.

I’ve seen people have Animal Print flowers such as leopard print. I’ve seen them sold in stores, such as Hot Topic, Torrid, and Claries, eBay, Esty. I’ve search and I haven’t gotten any luck and I want to know if anyone knows where I can find the manufacturer who make these flowers, or who can customize silk flowers.
Incoming search terms for the article:
