Is it normal to find scarves selling at Zara for $79.99? I bought 2 on a whim and am now regretting big time!?
I’ve searched Zara’s website but its not really a catalogue of all they stock. These scarves are beautiful and are made of 47%Linen, 34% Nylon and 19% silk with lace panels inserted in linen. One is in salmon Pink and the other is vintage ivory with light vintage pink lace inserts. They are pasmina sized and can be worn like a scrawl. Bought on 5th Ave in New York on the weekend. Saw another scrawl there too in cashmere but the tickets have no designer name and you have to cut them off being zara so I feel not only mental having bought them both but annoyed that there isn’t a pretty label on them and they are not designer at this price. I normally pay no more than £10 for scarves. I had a flight to catch in 3 hours so was just buying everything. Feel free to give thoughts on whether you think it is worth it or if you think I’m mental and also if you think I could sell one on for cost?

Did you sell your wedding dress and regret it later??
Just wondering, one of my bridemaids recommended a place for cleaning and boxing my wedding dress. Well, when I really got thinking about it- yeah it’s a nice dress that cost 1,200 but it’s made out of polyester (not silk like a really good or old dress)….. and most people don’t rewear their mother’s dresses unless they are really nice and vintage. Most of my friends have their mother’s dress and their wedding dress in the attic. So instead of paying all that extra money to have it cleaned and boxed to throw it in my crawl space- I am thinking about selling it on ebay after the wedding.
Anyone ever sell their dress and wish they didn’t?? If so please tell me why!
Thanks!!
My dress is really plain with a little beading at the waist and the edge of the dress. I though about making into something else but it would just be ivory polyester…. won’t look like much if it was made into something else.
Does anyone know where I can rent silk flowers for cheap for my wedding?
I am going with a black and white reception. I have black table cloths and Ivory table runners. I have cylinder glass holders but lost on what to put in them.
How old is my vintage wedding dress?
I’ve recently bought an absolutely beautiful old wedding gown. It’s a pale ivory colour and very old looking. It’s floor length with a long train and quite full skirt, with a fitted bodice and long, tapered sleeves. The neckline is high and square, and, like the waist, has very delicate green and white spray flowers sewn into it. It has a small side fastening of silver buttons. It is made of coarse silk and has some staining on the back and hem through age. It looks to me like it could be mid to late Victorian, though i’m not an expert and very roughly guessing. If anyone could shed some light on its age or perhaps has some better knowledge of this kind of thing i would be very grateful to hear your thoughts! Thank you
