I want to buy silk flowers for flower arrangements.
I want to buy silk flowers for flower arrangements.
I want to get silk flowers for a cheap price for my wedding, where can I get cheap high quality flowers?
Several loved ones are buried in distant cemeteries and I cannot go there to change out fresh flowers on their graves; yet silk flowers have to be thrown in landfills when they get old. These cemeteries do not allow flowers or shrubs to be planted, because it gets in the way of the lawnmowing.
Are there any alternatives?
No, unfortunately there are no built-in vases at each grave, so everything has to go either on a side vase, if the headstone has those, or on top of the headstone.
I had not thought of bird feeders; that is an idea.
Can anyone suggest how to store silk flowers so as not to crush them. Some flowers can snap back but some can’t. I’d rather not find out which ones of mine can’t as they are expensive. I’m looking for a way to store them in an upright position in a small walk-in closet. I have them loosely packed in boxes now but this is not an ideal long-term storage remedy for me. I want them organized and in pristine condition.
Thanks for the help!
Do you guys think silk flower arrangments for a wedding will be tacky. I am getting married in 2 mths and my fiancee’s mom is planning everything. She happens to love silk flowers… I want real flowers for the myself and the bridal party… but for the centerpieces she will probably do silk.. I don’t want to make too many demands because she is paying 100% of all the costs. What do you think??
I think she will probably want the boquets to be silk too. But I will tell her tomorrow that I want real flowers for the bridal party. What do you guys think
She wants my input but I feel really bad to make demands. My side of the family is not really paying for anything. I have no dad only a mom. I just feel so terrible to sound picky
Besides that spray that you get from the craft store, how can you clean your dusty silk flowers??
I am getting married and our theme we decided to go with is neon colors and blacklights at the reception. However, i’m having a really hard time finding bright yellow, pink, blue, purple, green and orange silk flowers. I’m making the bouquets myself and also wanting to decorate with neon colored flowers around the reception. Any ideas?
p.s. I thought about white flowers then using neon colored fabric to wrap the stems. Good idea?
Is there such a thing is a good name brand silk flower?
Im considering making my own bouquets and possibly using fake instead of real flowers, because some fake arrangements i have seen photograph really well, and almost look real. And the main thing im concerned with is how the fake flowers will photograph?
I figured that with silk flowers i may be able to get the bouquets i really want. Ive been pricing real flowers wholesale, and so far i have found the roses are the cheapest.
does anyone have any wedding photos of fake flowers they can share?
Silk flower arrangements continue to look more and more realistic. They offer a lot of cost benefits over real flowers and I am wondering how to go about making a floral arrangement using silk flowers.
I am using silk flowers to save money and time. My main questions is does anyone know of an online store with good quality flowers at a reasonable price? I tried Michaels and did not like the selection.
Thanks!
